Cleaning start times are from 8:30am-4:30pm M-F. If you have a special request let us know and we'll see if we can accommodate you!
+ What is included in a cleaning?
Follow our detailed cleaning checklist! All first-time cleanings are deep cleans. You may add extra instructions to your order during booking, or by simply contacting us.
Extra services include: Inside fridge cleaning, inside oven cleaning, green cleaning, inside windows, basement, move in/move out, inside cabinets and laundry.
+ What is NOT included in a cleaning?
Some things we cannot perform for the protection of our technicians: cleaning that requires climbing on ladders, exterior windows, mold removal, deep stain removal, insect and pest removal, cleaning pet messes, cleaning blinds, and items that require heavy lifting.
+ One time vs recurring cleanings
Monthly, Bi-weekly, and weekly cleanings are discounted by percentage. The next cleaning is automatically scheduled on the same day and time in the future. We'll send a reminder and/or text in case you want to log in and make any changes or skip a cleaning.
One-time cleanings can be scheduled at any time but no discounts are available.
+ Moving in and moving out
Maids About Columbus offers move out cleanings as an extra priced service to reflect the extra time needed for baseboards, uncleaned carpets, and other areas that have been hidden by furniture for quite some time. Please note that we are unable to guarantee your deposit. In addition, your cleaning professional is unable to move heavy furniture or climb ladders, as per our safety policy.
All products used during our cleanings are safe for your family and pets. Please contact us for green cleaning options and as always you can request certain products when you book.
+ I have an extra large home. How can I book?
Give us a call directly and we will send a quote to you for those big houses :)

+ Can I trust my cleaning professional?
Your trust and security is important to us. All of our cleaning technicians are fully insured and bonded and pass a rigorous background check that includes quality control.
+ How does payment work?
Pay securely online through our booking form which is powered by Stripe. All payments are 256-bit secured and if there is a payment error with our system we will refund your transaction. Currently we only accept payment online via credit or debit card.
+ Do I need to be home for my cleaning?
Not at all! Just leave us instructions as to how you would like your cleaning and we'll be happy to clean while you're away.
+ How long will my cleaning take?
Generally the number of bedrooms will determine how long a cleaning will take. 2-bedroom homes will be about 3 hours, and 3-bedroom homes about 4 hours (and so on). For especially dirty homes, we may charge an extra $15 for every extra 30 min., may prioritize and stop without spending extra time; or we may ask that you book again so that we can come back and finish the entire home.

+ How do I create a Maids About Columbus account?
Simply book an appointment and we will safely and securely remember you for future cleanings.
+ How do I log into my account?
You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.
+ I'm having issues with my account. What can I do?
Please feel free to give us a call 8:30am-5pm M-F and we will be happy to answer your questions! E-mails will be returned within the hour on weekdays and by the end of the day on weekends (though we work to have e-mails answered wtihin 15 minutes!)
+ I wasn't happy with my cleaning what do I do?
Maids About Columbus has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you aren't happy with your cleaning, contact us and we will send another team to make sure your house gets the sparkle it deserves!
+ When will my cleaners arrive?
Please allow our cleaners a 1-2 hour window to arrive during your booking time. If a cleaning team cannot make it on time or within the 2 hour window, we will let you know ASAP.
+ How do I reschedule or cancel my booking?
The easiest way to cancel a booking is to simply login and cancel! Otherwise you can contact us to let us know.
+ How much does a booking cost?
We like to keep options easy for our clients so we use a flat-rate pricing model depending on the number of rooms in your home. Check out our booking page for more information!
